Manta Ray Duo Sculpture 11in Long Pellucida on Burlwood
The manta ray was often referred to as the “Devil Fish” because of its upturned fins which resemble the horns of the devil. More recently, we have come to appreciate it for its harmless, gentle and graceful qualities. Also, this underwater glider has become a favorite swimming companion for many divers.
These Manta Rays are about 8 inches high, and when they are mounted on a polished burlwood base, they are about 11 inches long.

These mantas are molded from our proprietary resin compound, Pellucida, which resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain.
