These Violetear Hummingbirds are molded from Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound that resembles but is more durable than bisque porcelain.
They are delicately airbrushed here in the Studio.
Each bird's wingspan is about 5 inches.
SOME ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED. The pair come with nearly invisible monofilament thread and a wire cross member or yoke. The birds have to be tied to the yoke at whatever height works for your situation. Then, using a shorter piece of the line, we recommend tying the yoke as close to the point of attachment as possible so that it visually interferes with the birds as little as possible. The birds rotate with the slightest breath of air and the yoke rotates so that the birds rotate around each other. See also we also sell the single birds.
